本日、私は、NECの山田さんが私のオフィスに来たので議論をしました。また、鈴木さんからも電話がありました。その内容について報告するとともに、私の意見を提案します。
(山田さんと鈴木さんのコメント)
・ERP拡張によるモジュールの追加等のコストは、もちろん支払う。しかし、拡張といっても利用が急激に増えるものではなく、カスタマイズ等も当面予定していない。今の料金体系を変えることには同意できない。今後、新しい形態のサービスを受ける場合には、別の契約を締結しても良い。

・Of course the cost like adding modules due to ERP expansion will be paid. However, expansion doesn't mean rapid increase for usage, and there is no immediate plan to customize, etc.. We can't agree to change the rate structure. It's possible to have a separate contract in case for receiving new style service in the future.

- Needless o say, we will pay the additional cost such as the cost for the modules required in ERP extension. However, the usage would not dramatically increase due to the extension, and we are not currently going to customize them. We cannot agree to the change of the current pricing system. We are open to close another contract in the case that we take a new form of the service in the future.
And I got also call from Mr.Suzuki.
I will report those contents and propose my opinion.

Off course we will pay cost for additional cost of module by enhancement of ERP.
But we expect the amount of use will not be increased rapidly and we don't have any plan to customize so on about this enhancement.
We can't agree changing current price sysytem.
We can accept concluding another contract if we get new kind of service later.
・A社の年間支払額やSAPのコストの補填も、ERPの料金とは関係がない。それはSAP自体の問題であり、何より、我々はSAPの機能・サービスには満足していない。
・SAPとは、佐藤さんが苦労して契約締結し、また、7年もかけてシステムを理解し構築してきたので、NECとしては今後とも利用したいと思っている。何より、私達はTomさんを心から信頼しているので、契約を継続させたいと考えている。しかし、これ以上、問題の解決が図られないのなら、最悪の場合、他社への移行も考えなくてはならない。
・Regarding SAP, Mr. Sato concluded the contract with some difficulty, and because it's take 7 years already to construct a system that can be understood, so from now on, we feel we would like to use NEC. Above all, we are most confident in Tom, so we've decided we'd like to continue the contract. However, on top of this, if a solution to the problem isn't devised, in the worst case, we'll have to switch over to another company.
· As Mr. Sato has finally closed a contract with SAP after a lot of struggling, and he has understood and built the system over seven years, NEC would like to continue to use it in the future as well. Above all, we sincerely trust Mr. Tom, so we would like to keep the contract. However, if we cannot resolve this problem further than now, as the worst case scenario, we may have to think about the transition to another company.
・We NEC hope to continue to use SAP for the future because it is the system that Mr.Sato engage with his endevor and has built it for seven year. Furthermore, we trust Tom san bottom from our heart, so we intend to keep our contract. But if it is impossible to solve this problem more than this, we have to decide change dealing company.
こうした状況に対し、当然、SAPの立場を主張し、ぎりぎりの交渉を行うことを前提にした上で、私の意見は次の通りです。
1. 長期的な回収を図る
一般的に、NECは一度採用を決定したシステム等は、簡単に中止したり変更はしない傾向があります。今回もこれだけNECの不信感が増していても、今のところ、交渉は決裂していません。
2. 別契約を締結する
NEC等の海外子会社に対しては、新たな契約を締結することで対応する。

off course we will take proposition to insist SAP side opinion and try tough negotiation,
and I have below opinion for that.
1, Try to collect money for long terms
In general, NEC doesn't stop or change system easily once they determine to utilize system etc.
This time negotiation has not still been broken despite increase of dissatisfaction by NEC.
2, Conclude different contract
We will take way to conclude new contract about oversea office of NEC or so on.
3. 信頼関係の強化を図る
早期に日本の責任者を雇う。それにより、NECとの信頼関係を回復し、SAPへの理解を深めることにより、タイミングを見て契約の見直しを行う。
なお、今回円満に契約更改できれば、NECはSAPの利用を公表して良いと考えています。
今は、NECとSAPは少し感情的になっている面があります。
冷静で誠意ある話し合いによりNECとの契約が継続され、同時に、日本でのSAPのユーザ開拓が推進することを、私は願っています。
To hire a Japanese person who is responsible at the earliest. After doing so, by restoring the trust relationship with NEC and by understanding SAP more, we will revise the contract at the appropriate timing.
If we can renew our contracts smoothly this time, NEC thinks that you can announce the use of SAP officially.
Now, both NEC and SAP seem to be somewhat emotional.
I expect that the contract with NEC will be maintained with a calm and courtesy discussion, and at the same time the user development of SAP in Japan would be promoted.
Hire responsible Japanese staff in hurry.
We try to recover trust relation ship with NEC and make deeper understanding for SAP.
And we will find good opportunity and try to renew contract by above way.
Further, if we can achieve smooth renew contract this time,
NEC accepts announcement of their SAP usage.
I guess both NEC and SAP are emotional this time.
I hope SAP can continue contract with NEC by cool and honest discussion and
make progress of SAP user development in Japan.
