グローバル化が進むこの変化の激しい世界において、より一層、教育の重要性が増しているように思います。
「グローバル」というと、日本人にとってはまず、「言語(英語)」ということを思い浮かべますが、もちろん、「言語(英語)」は「グローバル」と同義ではありません。
当保育園における教育では、「言語教育」という枠組みではなく、より包括的な「グローバル教育」を行います。

Educational President's comment : For opening my school
The possibilityfo an education and the grobal society.
In recent large changing world, I think more educational importance exists.

「違い」を受け入れる『多様性への寛容力』や思いやりの心。変化の中でも、自身で状況を切り拓いていく創造力や行動力。自己を表現し、他者とコミュニケーション、協調しながら取り組む能力。
それらは、ビジネスの世界だけの話ではなく、幸せで豊かな人生を送る為に大事なものだと思います。
10～20年以内には現在の仕事の約半数がAI化(自動化)されると言われており、今後のグローバル社会においても、「言語(英語)」という特定のスキルを身に付けるだけでは不十分だと考えられます。

In our nursery school、children learn a variety of worlds (the world that is different from the one considered to be common sense in Japan) in the "learning of different culture" where they acquire a wide culture. At the same time, they develop desire and intellectual searching where they learn and challenge by "active learning". Therefore, at our kindergarten, we learn diversified world (where different from the Japanese common sense) via "cross-cultural learning" for acquiring a wide variety of educations as well as nurturing learning skills, challenging motivation, and intellectual curiosity through "active learning".
Not only during the attendance at our kindergarten, we aim to nurture the everlasting global skills required in the future as well.
We believe education has a massive power to bring peace and happiness.
Here at CGK, instead of limiting children's possibility, we strive to challenge anything and offer the world not only within the premise but also serves as an entrance to a big world.

●「世界」との出会い
私は今までに、オーストラリア、カナダ、アメリカの3カ国にて、住んだり、バックパッカーをしていましたが、いずれの国も多民族国家の為、数十カ国もの国籍の人と会う機会に恵まれました。
そんな海外での貴重の経験は、観光地を楽しむことではなく、様々な人に出会い、拙い英語で話し、聞いた、その経験そのものでした。

I have been lived or backpacker in 3 countries, Australia, Canada, America and all are multi national countries, and I have an opportunity to meet few dozens of nationalities people.
My precious experience is not enjoy sightseeing places, but the experience itself to meet various people, speak with simple English and listen.

In the past, I had lived or travelled as a backpacker to Australia, Canada, and USA, and was blessed with occasions to meet with people from dozens of different countries due to the nature of those countries being multiethnic.
One precious experience I had at overseas was the experience itself to meet and communicate with such diversified people in my poor English but not enjoying those sightseeing spots.

今まで生きてきた世界(物理的にも精神的にも)の小ささに気が付き、「世界は面白い」「知らない世界をもっと知りたい」という意欲が生まれ、それは、世界に対してだけでなく、あらゆることへの「知的探究心」に繋がっていました。自らが興味を持ち、考えた事から、自身の意見が生まれ、それを人に伝えたいという欲求に変わります。
英語力が高くても議論や主張、コミュニケーションに弱い日本人を見ていると、日本人が世界で活躍出来ない理由は、単純に語学(英語)の問題というわけでは無いことに気が付きます。

I had come to realize how small the world I have lived was (both physically and spiritually), and my desire to appreciate "how interesting the world is" and learn "the world that I have not yet to known" has grown more and more. And it has led to the "intellectual curiosity" to deepen not only towards the world but also to all sorts of things. My opinions are born through my interest and thoughts, then transformed into the desire to communicate them.
Japanese people with strong English speaking ability but with weaker debating/claiming/communication skills perceives me the reason they cannot be globally successful is not simply because of the linguistic (English) barrier.

小学３年生からの英語必修化が2020年から始まりますが、単純に幼児英語教育だけに力を入れることが、日本人に求められているものではありません。
「グローバル社会」の為に求められる「グローバル教育」は、イコール「英語教育」では無いのです。

海外の移民国家と呼ばれるような国の都市部では、多様な国籍とバックグラウンドを持った人達であふれていますが、ここ日本でも同じような環境を提供しようと、様々な国際交流イベントを行い、日本文化や世界の文化も紹介してまいりました。
そういった活動が実を結び、海外留学を決めた方もいれば、国際結婚をした方もいます。
「日本と世界の架け橋」という理念を掲げる身としては、まさしく幸せを感じる瞬間です。

Those metropolitan areas in countries of immigrants abroad are filled with people with diversified nationalities and backgrounds, and we have been holding a variety of international communication events and introduced both Japanese and world cultures in order to provide a similar environment here in Japan.
As a result of such activities, some have chosen to study abroad or married to a non-Japanese.
As for us with the philosophy to "bridging Japan and the world", this is the very happy moment.

海外への興味から、英語学習意欲にも繋がり、海外へ飛び出す為の架け橋(手助け)としての「英語教育事業」もスタート。
大人向けの英会話スクール事業にて、多くの方が、英語だけでなく、海外への興味を更に広げていく姿を見て、「やり始めて良かった」と思うのと同時に、大人から始めるには、「時間」「語学力の上達速度」「物事への価値観の固定化」「新しいことへの積極性」といった点で問題やジレンマを感じる事もありました。

The desire to learn English has spread through an interest to know abroad, and we have started the "English education business" as a means to support those who challenge outside Japan. Looking at those adult learners who had broadend their interest towards abroad through our English conversation school business, I felt it was good that we had "started the business". At the same time there were times when we faced issues and dilemmas how "time", "speed to progress the linguistic ability", and "how their values are fixed towards things", and "their positive attitudes towards new challenges" get in the way when adult learners start learning.

そんな中で生まれたのが、当保育園です。

Small children who have no stereotype idea feel that all of what they experience is fresh and have been stimulated in many ways everyday. In the "learning of different and Japanese culture", they experience the world even adults cannot experience as much as possible. The interest to the world where they see for the first time in a variety of ways is lead to high curiosity.
And in the "active learning", we develop the ability to think, move and create by children. The children express themselves by using a variety of tools by focusing on English freely through the activity where they are absorbed in and forget even laughing. They challenge a new thing actively.
