SONYとの契約更新は、私とSONY持株のA財務部長との話し合いによって、最終的に契約をすることが出来ました。SAPにとって必ずしも完全に満足のゆく内容ではなかったものの、今後とも、SAP/REPを使ってSONYの財務のグローバル化の推進が継続されることが決まったことを、私は大変嬉しく思っています。当初、強硬な意見を主張していた、SONY持株のBさんやSONYリースのCさんも、Tomさんの温かいご配慮を含め、この結果には感謝しています。

For the renewal of contract with SONY, according to the talk with SONY share-holding Mr. A, the finance departmental manager, the final contract has been done. Due to SAP, though there were some contents that has to be completely satisfied, in future, I am very glad that the propulsion of SONY's finance globalization is to be continued using SAP/REP. 今回、Bさんは他のSONYグループ企業へ転出し、その後任がDさんです。また、Dさんは同じ持株会社・営業部に新しく作られたグローバル部門へ異動となり、その後任はEさんです。一緒に来た2名とは、DさんとEさんのことです。

On Friday last week B in Sony Lease, C in Sony holding company and 2 their co-workers came to my office. Based on our talking on that day, I will report how Sony is going in respect with SAP recently.

Well, last Friday, SONY lease's Mr. B, SONY holding company's Mr.C as well as 2 of their colleagues came to my office. Based on the talks, I will report late SONY's movement related SAP.

Generally, in Japanese companies personnel change is carried on every few years.

Although this year there is no rotation, next year, Mr. K who supervises the financial department of SONY Group will move. For his position, Mr. L will take it. Of course SONY has been seeking for a way to have cloud/SaaS services to handle individual issue and up to what level, but since this is the issue for Japanese companies as a whole, so we would of course like to resolve them, too.
