ERPの進め方について、NEC関係者から沢山の要望や問題提起が私の所に来ています。
その内容は、2月8日にお送りしたレポートと同じようなものですが、改めて整理すると以下の通りです。

・NECは、ERPの進め方について、料金を含め相談したいと昨年から要望していたが、
これまで何もSAPから回答がなかった。ところが、一方的にTerm Sheetが送られてきた。
・NECは、ERPを進めるといっても、従来の契約の拡張、或いは、延長線上のものという理解をしていた。

Regarding the implementation method of ERP, I have received lots of requests and problem proposals from NEC related.
The details are similar to the report sent on Feb 8, but please allow me to sort them out again as follows:

- Since last year NEC has requested to consult with the ERP implementation including prices, but has received no reply from SAP as of yet. However they sent a term sheet to NEC without its agreement.
- NEC had understood that their deal with ERP implementation was something as an expansion or extension of the traditional agreement.

Regarding the way how to go though ERP, I have received a lot of requests and complaints from concerned people in NEC.
The contents are similar to the ones in the report sent on February 8, but they are as follow, trying to organize them again.

· NEC had been requesting to consult about how to go through ERP, including the fee, since last year, but there has been no response from SAP side at all. However, the term sheet was sent one-sidedly .
· NEC had thought that it was just an extension of the existing contract or its further extension even though NEC would promote ERP.

I've received a lot of requests and complaints from the parties concerned of NEC relating to the method of proceeding ERP.
The contents are similar to the report sent on 8th February, however I've rearranged as below.

· NEC had requested to consult about the method of proceeding ERP including the fee, howeverbut there are still no feedback from SAP. However, Term Sheet was sent unilaterally.

- The fee structure has been changed to be based on the number of organizations from that of user IDs, which does not provide a reason.
- They recommend Private Hosting, but we do not see the necessity.
- REVAL does not have a responsible person in Japan whom we can reach on a daily basis.

It looks NEC and SAP are being a little emotional right now. So far many problems were solved and past 3 years, then the trial was successfully brought to completion, and global utilization was decided. Regrettably, due to my lack of knowledge for cost and pricing structure of ERP, and Sales strategy for SAP, I can't show any further practical solution for this problem.
