漫画講座のある学校や大学へ入学して、そこでスキルアップするのも良いですね。
今ちょっと漫画を学べる学校を調べてみました。
（英語検索が苦手なので全部日本の学校ですが、すみません）
周囲に何を言われようと、いちいち相手にしては駄目です。アニメや漫画業界は非常に歴史が長いですし、熱意さえあればちゃんと道は用意されています。国籍も年齢も関係ないですよ。
