It is not necessary to make everything by yourself. Japan has still some hidden technologis, and very talented designers. We also have very critical view of consumers. I am convinced that we can do a new way of product creation using them. TRINUS was born based on this thought.

試作も進んでいます。鉛筆の削りかすが花びらのようになるのは、想定外の驚きでした。
次に、写真や描いたデザインを転写することはもちろん、木の葉やレースカーテンなど、実際にある素材そのものを革にエンボス加工できる技術を開発した職人さんに出会いました。
そこでウェブ上でこの技術を活用するアイデアを募集したところ、月のクレーターを正確に再現した、円形のコインケース＆クラッチバックの提案がありました。 近いようで遠い存在である月に触れることができるのです。

新しい漆の技術にも出会いました。日本の伝統工芸の漆器ですが、乾燥や熱等に弱くキズが付きやすいという弱点がありました。この素材は漆本来の良さは保ちつつ、それら弱点を克服したのです。
テキスタイルブランドを展開しているデザイナーからコラボしたいという提案があり、進めています。普段使いができる漆器であるからこそ、普段の食生活に彩りを与える製品にしたいと考えています。
アイデオのトム・ケリー氏は「いかなる個人より全員の方が賢い」と言っています。私はこの考え方を体現したいと思っています。

I encountered new Japanese lacquer technology. Lacquer craft is Japanese traditional craft, but it has weak point which is very sensitive to drying or heat, and is easily bruised. This material has overcome those weak points preserving essential Japanese lacquer advantages.
As there was an offer about collaboration from a designer who is promoting textile brands, we are working on it. We would like to enrich daily food life by this Japanese lacquer product which we can use every day.

I encountered with a new lacquer. The Japanese lacquerware had disadvantage that dryness or heat will damage them. But this new material keeps the good characteristics of the material and also improved this disadvantages.
We received a proposal for collaboration from a designer who is developing texitie brand and we are going forward. This lacquerware will allow us to use them in daily lives. We would like to make products that will contribute to daily eating adding more color to it.
