On the basis of Tom's question, I would like to explain the summary of our operating performance in Q1 of 2018.

As globalization of Japanese corporation groups has been increasing, I believe that the demand for ERP is going to get stronger. I hope that IBM will organize the sales structure in Japan and actively break Japanese market. In that case, I will support sales activities toward not only NEC group but other general companies as much as possible. I recognize a wealth of experiences as CFO and close relationships with those who work in finance as my strengths and especially, with taking advantage of relationship to NEC, I could contribute to discover IBM users in Japanese market.

Along with the amendment of the Bank act, I am currently conducing various investigations in order to identify the needs for continuing the IBM business in Japan. The hearing session from the concerned parties at the Japanese mega banks is done and from now on I am planning to directly ask officials at the Financial Services Agency and the Ministry of Finance. I will get back to you as soon as I find out the status.
Also, upon proceeding with the investigation, I would like to request for creating the business card with my new title on it at the earliest.

We already cundicted hearings with those who work at a major bank in Japan and we are finally going to talk directly with the executives in Financial Ministry. In accordance with the change of the Banking Act, there is a need for me to conduct various investigations in order to find out what is necessary for IBM's business to continue in Japan. We had already finished the hearings with the related personnel from Japan's mega banks. Going forward, it's about time that we will be speaking directly to the senior officials from Financial Services Agency and Ministry of Finance. As soon as we have an understanding of the situation, I would then report on it.
In addition, to progress with the investigation, I need new namecards which mention my new job title so I would like to request for this on an urgent basis.
In accordance with the change of the Banking Act, there is a need for me to conduct various investigations in order to find out what is necessary for IBM's business to continue in Japan. We had already finished the hearings with the related personnel from Japan's mega banks. Going forward, it's about time that we will be speaking directly to the senior officials from Financial Services Agency and Ministry of Finance. As soon as we have an understanding of the situation, I would then report on it.
In addition, to progress with the investigation, I need new namecards which mention my new job title so I would like to request for this on an urgent basis.
