Regarding Misodengaku, we have miso soup that we are reminded when we hear the miso.
In this cooking, we make a strong taste source with miso. We eat by adding it to ingredients such as tofu and eggplant at skewer that were grilled by goma oil crisply.
The meaning of dengaku is derived from traditional entertainment called "dengaku" that had been played in Heian Period. It was name by the reason that form of the tofu at skewer was similar to how a dancer danced.

As for Misodengaku, there is Miso soup you can easily image with Miso, in this dish, a thick souse is made. You can eat it with sesame source baked on Tofu or eggplants with a stick.
Dengaku means comes from a traditional art called "Dengaku" done in the Heian period. The form of Tofu with a stick looked like a dancer made its name.

Speaking of MIso Dengaku, miso is easily inspired by miso soup, but with this dish, firstly we will make thick sauce with using miso paste. Then grill tofu, eggplant and other ingredient skewered with sesame oil and eat it with the sauce.
The word "Dengaku" was derived from the traditional entertainment called "Dengaku" which was taken place in the Heian era. That was named by the shape of skewer of the tofu looked like the dancer in the entertainment.
