Regarding Misodengaku, we have miso soup that we are reminded when we hear the miso.
In this cooking, we make a strong taste source with miso. We eat by adding it to ingredients such as tofu and eggplant at skewer that were grilled by goma oil crisply.
The meaning of dengaku is derived from traditional entertainment called "dengaku" that had been played in Heian Period. It was name by the reason that form of the tofu at skewer was similar to how a dancer danced.

Dengaku means comes from a traditional art called "Dengaku" done in the Heian period. The form of Tofu with a stick looked like a dancer made its name.
