I have sent items from Japan to Germany many times and have never experienced accidents.
However, in case the item indicated with the price $20 was lost, stolen or damaged, I could only demand up to $20 for compensation.

Please let me confirm the way to describe the price on the package.
I have mailed packages with a tracking number between Germany and Japan dozens of times, but fortunately I have never experienced any trouble or accident.
However, in case there is package lost, abstraction or damage, only up to as much as 20 dollars are compensated if the price description is 20 dollars. That is the amount of money which I can issue a refund to you if any trouble or accident happens.
Would it still fine with you?

そうしないと税関で不審物と疑われて職権で開封されるといった可能性もあります。
