Testing or applying the wax when it is too hot could cause you serious injury. Read the instructions carefully. Proceed at all times with extreme caution. If you over-heat the wax by mistake the pot containing the wax will also become hot. Use an oven mitt or a towel when handling the heated pot. Infographic design tool Piktochart hits 400,000 users, rolls out new version

We reported in June that online infographic creation tool Piktochart hit 300,000 users. Yesterday co-founder, Ai Ching told us that Piktochart now has more than 400,000 users. She declined to reveal a monthly active user count but did say that more than 10,000 users are paying users. That has helped the startup stay in the black, maintaining a 50 percent profit margin.

On Thursday MessageMe became the latest mobile messaging app that joins the sticker craze as it introduces a number of free and paid sets of stickers. The week before, TenthBit’s Couple also added stickers for its users. With Path and Facebook joining the sticker craze this year, it looks as if the prevailing way to monetize messaging apps is by selling stickers instead of charging to use their services. But evidence shows that there are other ways.

Thanks to mobile network carriers in general setting the cost of SMS ridiculously high and generally keeping the service in the 1990s, a number of free to use Internet-dependent messaging services had began to show up on mobile platforms.

The likes of Yahoo Messenger, Nimbuzz, MSN, and Skype had been among the early ones to bring their services to mobile devices followed by messaging services developed natively for mobile environment. These apps have taught people that there is, or there should be, no directly attributable cost to use messaging services like the way SMS works. So what are the ways that messaging service companies have taken to earn revenue?

Ive received your updates on several Dornier DO-17 model kits. However, theres no info on the scale of these kits. This doesnt help me. Ive already returned a DO-17 kit to seller which I mistakenly thought was 1:48 scale when it was actually 1:72 scale. Im searching for 1:48 scale Dornier DO-17 ONLY! Last week, the folks over at Hongkiat did a fantastic job rounding up the annual salaries of web designers and developers from over 35 different countries. The data has been derived from PayScale, which organizes submissions by people who work in the field. We have decided to summarise the salaries of developers and designers in seven Asia-Pacific countries (India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia) and benchmark them against the United States. Here are the salaries, from lowest to highest.

Taking a closer look at the annual salaries, India and Indonesia commands the lowest salaries, while Australian developers and designers are paid the most as compared to their counterparts. Japan programmers and designers (other than the exception of senior designers) also command a higher salary than Singapore and Hong Kong-based developers and designers.

The detailed PayScale charts will display only newer data which has been submitted since 2013. But they do not remove the older content since this is used to generate a full median when there isn’t any new data available. I find their system is very reliable and the median numbers are never off by more than 1-2 years. So I would argue these salary estimates can be ranged from 2011-2013 taking various data models into account.
