今回のレジデンスでは、””home””というキーワードで制作のプロセスを作っていこうと思います。
普段の制作では、リサーチの後、作品のアイデアが思いつきます。レジデンスでは、初めて海外に,仮の”HOME”といえるべき拠点を持って、リサーチと制作を行います。いままで日本での活動が多かったのですが、日本を”ホーム”としての視点でのみ作品を制作しました。別の場所で、ホームを置くことで、よりリサーチと制作の関係性を作品として反映させたいとおもっています。

HOME as a theme
I am planning to design a production process with a keyword "home" for this residence.
During usual production process, I usually come up with an idea of a work after research. For this residence, I will conduct research and production having a base oversea for the first time where I can call it tentative "HOME". I had worked mainly in Japan and created works only with perspective from Japan as "HOME". I'd like to reflect relationship between research and production into the work more explicitly, by setting home in the new place.

まずは、近年活動をしてきた”３０秒に一回みっける写真道場(MIKKE DOJO)”の手法を使って、”ホーム”をテーマに街のリサーチを行いつつ、自分だけでなくレジデンスアーティストやサポートしてくれる住人たちとのコラボレーションを行います。”MIKKE DOJO”は、およそ30秒に一回くらいの割合の間隔で街を歩きながら被写体を見つけていき、一日で約1000枚の写真を撮り、1コマ0.25秒（１秒４コマ）の割合で映像化し、その日のうちに即上映会をするプログラムです。

First off, I use the "Once every 30 seconds Discover Photo Studio (Mikke Dojo)" method which in recent years I have come to use a lot, and while doing town research with "Home" as the theme, it is not just myself, but I collaborate with resident artists and supporting residents. "Mikke Dojo" is a program where, at a proportional rate of about once every 30 seconds, one goes walking around town and finds subjects to photograph, taking about 1000 pictures in one day, with a picture-taking rate of one frame every 0.25 seconds (one second, four frames), and then during that same day screening the photos as they are.

At firrst I will collaborate with residence artist and neigbours who support us while I research holding "home" as a theme, using a method which was used in "MIKKE DOJO" (Photo school for finding out once in every 30 minutes) where I have acted recently. "MIKKE DOJI" is a programe to find out a subject once in about every 30 minutes and visualize in a rate of 1segment per 0.25 seconds (1second per 4 segments) and put on a screen on the same day.

作品へのプロセス

By means of adding music and narration, various participation styles and expression measures are engulfed. By means of dff the cuff filming and editing many collaboration has been acheived and led to exhibition and live festival.
Process of works
I will repeat research and collaboration using filming method and also create works such that we have been creating such as curvings holding "home" as a theme so far. Collecting miscellaneous films and physical curvings I wish to create a work.

Various different kinds of pieces of work are arranged on a one sheet floor of a wall. Holes are made in them and the pieces were connected with these holes one by one. This procedure creates a relationship between the surface and the back or the centering image of the floor and wall. With this “space language” these pieces of work express the meaning of HOME in various ways; a definite and unified shape as a floor or wall comes out in this way leading to a specific landscape.

Individual works will be exhibited on a floor or a wall. On the floor or the wall, there are holes and works will be implicated with the holes. By doing that, the relationship between front and back or centrality will be created. Thanks to these spatial languages, multiple works will involve a wider variety of meanings of "HOME" and express a landscape in an physically aggregated form such as a floor or a wall.

例えば、今までの作品でも、”home”というキーワードで、作品の制作を読み解けます。
レジデンス先で新たな作品を作りたいと思います。（自分の作品を例に出しますが、レジデンス先で出会った人の作品も最終的な作品にとりこむかもしれません。）

中心の象徴としての電球を扱い、その中心を集合体として作品を作る。家や部屋の中心には必ず明かり＝電球があるそのことから発想した。
