Some of the future economic plans by the Japanese government and corporations

I introduce some of the economic measures that are being implemented by the government and corporations in Japan.

Deregulation
In particular, tech companies in the electronics industry are asking for deregulation by the Japanese government.
Japan is the most heavily regulated country among the industrialized nations.
A drastic deregulation of the domestic market is desired so that the corporations can always adapt rapidly to the global standard. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) is developing the plans.

Education reform
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology is reexamining the "pressure-free (Yutori) education" and planning to increase the teaching time in schools.
They are also looking into the possibility of resuming classes on Saturdays.

Additional investments in the strongest areas of the Japanese industry
Japan has now lagged behind other countries in the electronics field.
However, Japan is still leading in some areas within the electronics industry such as the robotics area. Additionally, Japan is the world leader in the area of regenerative medicine.
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is planning on making huge additional investments focusing on areas in which Japan is at the cutting edge of the technology.
Also, additional investments in the subculture industries such as amine, manga, and character designs that are popular overseas are planned.

There are other various measures being planned but unless they are implemented rapidly, I do not think it is possible to stop the economic recession in Japan.
