Sakata Group has established a subsidiary of Information Service internally and make a strong effort for system engineering. We received the Minister-of-International-Trade-and-Industry prize for the distribution system contest in 1997, and now have several numbers of patent pending software. Our efficient information system-driven service is offered for ministorage and document management.

Pickup and delivery will be made the next day subsequent to your request. We are also available for expedited pickup and/or delivery upon request.

ジャスト・イン・タイムの普及に伴って、リードタイム短縮が取引上必須となっている。リードタイムを短縮するためには相応のコストを掛けなければならず、価格競争力に響くので頭が痛い。顧客の都合による緊急出荷にも対応が必要。

代理店からの物流品質に関する要望が厳しく、万が一出荷間違いや商品破損を起こした際には、赤帽やバイク便などチャーター車を全額自社負担で仕立てて出荷する必要まで出てきている。取引を維持するためにはやむを得ないので、なんとか誤出荷や商品破損を無くしたい。

Corresponding to spread of Just In Time, minimizing the lead time is essential on business. However, it will relatively cost to minimize the lead time, which is a cause of trouble to price competitiveness. We must also deal with customers' request for urgent delivery.

Agents' demands on logistics quality is getting severe, and sometimes we are required to ship and incur all the costs regarding porter, messenger bike and/or charter when causing wrong shipment or damaging products. We have to accept the inevitable to keep the business with them, and thus we would like to eliminate any chances of causing wrong shipment and damaging products.

同氏は11月に、同社のインバウンドの取組みや日本の観光立国へ向けての提言など、インバウンド関係者へむけた「ドン・キホーテ流　観光立国への挑戦」を上梓。

Mr. Yoshiaki Nakamura from Don Quijote Co., Ltd. Made a Proposal on Inbound Businesses

Yamatogokoro Inc. is holding "Inbound Business Forum" at Roppongi Academyhills on December 5th; and at Osaka Cent. Public Hall on December 10th. Mr. Yoshiaki Nakamura, who is Don Quijote's project leader of their inbound businesses, will speak on the subject - "What to do now for Japan being a Tourism-Oriented Country as a part of Asia's Mega Cities of Tourism Exchange."
In this November, he just published a book, "Don Quijote's Challenge for Tourism-Oriented Country", for people who also work for inbound businesses. In that book, he writes Don Quijote's approaches for inbound businesses and makes a proposal for Japan being a tourism-oriented country
