現場監督者は不定期に現場巡回し、左記の6つの視点で作業を観察し、改善点を見つけて改善を指導する。
作業者の不安全行動や設備異常の兆候を見逃すと重大な不良発生や職場災害につながる。
不定期に巡回することにより、普段の作業者の行動(安全行動、異常検出等)がわかる。
新人へ安全指導と作業指導が確実にされている

監督者は新人に安全遵守事項、基本作業等を教え、実行しているか確認している。
