Futatsugoya Tunnel (384m) is one of the two tunnels in Bansaeitairo.
Expansion work was carried out so that cars could pass in 1934 (Showa 9).
In 1966 (Showa 41), a tunnel was opened in a new location so that it could pass during heavy snowfalls in winter, and Bansaeitairo ended its role and was abandoned.
