If you take a look at the images on the item page, this item originally did not involve with any damages.
There is a higher possibility the item was damaged during the transportation.
Plus, $○○ was the amount you have specified.

I propose 2 ways for resolving the issue:
1. Request Post Office for compensation. I have no idea as to how much to be conpensated through our damage claim, but I believe they would issue me the refund if we could fully explain what happened. I could pay you $50 on top of the comensation amount as a sign of my apologies.

2. Please return the item. I will refund $○○ upon receiving the item with the thorough packing and return shipment.

If you take a look at the items photo on the page I think you will understand, the item was not damaged originally.
There is a possibility it was broken during transit.
$00 is the amount you have indicated.

There are two ways to resolve this issue

1) Request a compensation for damage from the post office.
I do not know how much compensation you may receive from the post office, but if you explain the situation you should get a refund. I will supplement that claim money with $50 as way of apology.

2) Return the item

As you can understand by seeing a picture of the page of the item, this item had not been
originally damaged. It is highly likely that it has been damaged while it was trasnported.
dollars are the price that you told me.

There are 2 ways to solve this problem.

Claim damage compensation to post office.
I don't know how much can be compensated by claiming the damage compensation, but you
will be able to receive refunding if you explain the situation in detail.
