希望する人だけがファイルを差し替える形でも良いと思います
とりあえず現状のままだと仕様として最悪だと思います
類似のScriptでサムネイルのURLが外部サイトを参照しているのは無いですよね？
またサムネイルの画像の容量が大きいので以下のようなページスピードの評価がでます
今の仕様だと改善しようがありません

And there is no such case that those url of the thumbnail referring to the external website through the similar Script, right?

You have no other option but improving the current specification.

I think it is ok that to change the file only who would like to.
Anyway, i think it would be worse if it is as it looks now.
There is no similar Scripts that refer the the other site of the sam naips,right?
There would be a estimation of the page speed because the capacity of the sam nail's pictures were over.
There is nothing to get improved if it is still how it looks now.
