英語がネイティブじゃないので上手く伝わらなかったでしょうか？
それとも別の人がもう同じ問題を指摘していますか？
または上記の問題点の修正は対応してもらえないのでしょうか？

希望する人だけがファイルを差し替える形でも良いと思います
とりあえず現状のままだと仕様として最悪だと思います
類似のScriptでサムネイルのURLが外部サイトを参照しているのは無いですよね？
またサムネイルの画像の容量が大きいので以下のようなページスピードの評価がでます
今の仕様だと改善しようがありません

In my opinion, file replacement can be allowed to those who wants it.
The current specification is not well designed.
Have you found similar Scripts in which thumbnail URLs refer to external sites?
And we can't examine the page load speed as the thumbnail pictures are too big.
We have no way to fix them unless current specification will be changed.
