I can read/speak Japanese, so I don't have problems like these, but one time I was asked if I wanted my items in separate bags at the grocery store. When I said "That's ok" (ii desu) they took it as a "please separate them" kind of response when I really didn't need an extra bag at all. This mistake happens a lot in conversation too.

Thank you for your reply and understanding. Before we fulfill this order, we have had a lot of discussions here and the conclusion is that we need to re-negotiate our operating agreement. We tried our best to be accommodating and fulfill special requests, especially on pricing, and we thought we could make it work, but unfortunately we cannot operate on the previously agreed margins. We are in the process of expanding and re-organizing our business structure and we will not have as much control over the fulfillment and ordering process.

My question is about the value declared when you ship the lens. Here in Brazil, we have a very high customs tax based on the declared value, so Im wondering if you could declare a lower value when you ship the lens.

The camera was recieved in the mail today. I inserted a blank tape and surprisingly, the camera would not read it and would tell me to eject the tape. I have tried this with multiple tapes and batteries without any luck.
It appears that the camera is damaged and I would like a refund if we cannot reach a resolution because this is the second VX I have bought from Japan that has failed me as soon as it arrived in the post.

I hope we can reach a resolution, thank you.

Thanks for your reply. We are intending to ship this unit tomorrow but I wanted to let you know that this unit was on display in our showroom. This is why it was priced so well on our site. My concern is that these plastic desks scuff easily. It is costing us a lot to send it to you in Florida (although we will absorb the extra shipping costs) so before I did that, I wanted to send you the attached pictures so you can confirm that it is OK. Please be aware, it is new and unused, but it has been sitting out for quite a while and stuff was likely put on it.
