御旅所とは、例大祭「安産祭り」におい て神(一般には神体を乗せた神輿)が巡 幸の途中で休憩または宿泊する場所とし て設けられました。地元では「御霊屋(オ タマヤ)」の愛称で呼ばれることもあり ます。 例大祭 安産祭りでは、4日の宵祭 りに神輿が「本殿」からここ「御旅所」 へ向かい、翌5日の本祭りは「お旅所」 から「本殿」へ向かいます。

山中諏訪神社の奥宮は山中湖東岸に位 置する1291mの明神山(鉄砲木ノ頭)の頂 上、山中湖パノラマ台から30分ほど 登った地に鎮座しています。

Otabisho (a tourist office) term is established for a place where god rest and stay on the way of cruise with god (generally a Mikoshi with god image（神体）at Reidaisai (例大祭）"Anzansai" (安産祭). In the region, it often is called it as "Otamaya (御霊屋）”. At Reidaisai and Anzansai, Mikoshi (神輿）leaves from "Honzen (main shrine)"to Otabisho on 4th of eve. The next day, on 5th, the main festival Mikoshi leaves from "Honzen" to "Otabisyo".

Okumiya (奥宮） of Ymanaka Suwa shrine is located on the top of 1291m Akashiyama (明神山）（Tepoginoatama) (鉄砲木ノ頭) which is about 30 minutes from Yamanaka lake panorama site.

Otabisho (portable shrine) is set up along tour routs as God (generally Mikoshi in which Sacred objects is riding) can take a rest or stay at the places during “a festival for easy delivery” one of Rei-taisai.
In local areas, it is also called by the nickname “O-tamaya”
In Rei-taisai “a festival for easy delivery”, Mikoshi is heading here to “Otabisho” from “Hondo (main shrine building) during a night festival held on 4th and on 5th the following day, it is heading back for “Hindo” from “Otabisho” during “Honmatsuri” (a main festival).
Okumiya (the rear shrine) of Nakayama-Suwa shrine is enshrined at the top of 1291 meters Myojin mountain near the east coast of Yamanaka late, a 30 minutes climbing from panorama stand build at Nakayama lake.

During the regular festival of the"Festival for Safe Childbirth" (Yasan Festival), the god (normally inside the palanquin that is holding the body of the god) while making it's procession during a festival, the place where the palanquin holding the god takes a break, or the final stopping point of the palanquin is where the "Otabisho" is created. The locals giving a loving pet name such as "Otamaya" is also common. At the regularly held festival for safe childbirth (Yasan Festival), on the 4th, the eve of the festival, the shrine leaves from the main shrine's inner sanctuary for the final stopping point of the palanquin. which arrives the next day on the 5th, and from then during the main festival the palanquin departs from the holding place back to the main shrine's inner sanctuary.

Yamanaka Suwa shrine's rear shrine is enshrined 1291 meters high at the top of Mt. Myojin, about a 30 minute climb from the Yamanaka panorama lake.

Otabisyo was established as the place where a god (generally, it is a portable shrine Mikoshi holding a sacred object) rests or stays on the way of Junko at the annual festival ”Anzan-matsuri”. Sometimes, it is called ”Otamaya” as the nickname at home. At the annual festival　”Anzan-matsuri”, a portable shrine Mikoshi goes to ”Otabisyo” from “Main shrine” on 4th of the evening festival, and goes to “Main shrine” from ”Otabisyo” at the main festival on 5th.

Okumiya of Yamanaka Suwa-shrine locates the top of Myojin-san (Teppougi no Atama)(1291m) which is on the eastern shore of Yamanaka-ko and the place climbing up from the Yamanaka-ko Panoramic board about 30 minutes.

古文書で は、往昔、明神山頂に小祠を祀るとあ り、これが現在の御所に鎮座する諏訪 神社奥宮とされています。 天保12年 (1841)、甲斐国都留郡平野村の名主で あった長田勝之進は、相模国小田原城 主の大久保加賀守と検地の際、甲斐国 の為に土地拡張を企画して、現存の明神 山頂より山北町の明神峠に奥宮を変遷 しました。後、神社関係者及び山中の 有志諸彦が、鎮座地の真相を認めて、現 在地に諏訪神社奥宮として再建されました。
9月 1日に例祭「奥宮祭」が執り行われてい ます。

In the ancient document, there written on the top of Myojin (明神）a small shrine. This is present Suwa Shrine Okumiya (諏訪神社奥宮） which places at Gosyo. In Tempo 12 (1841), Nagata Katsunoshin who was the chief of Kaikoku Turugun Hiranomura (甲斐国都留群平野村）planned expansion of the land for Kaikoku at the time of inspection with Okubo Kaganokami （大久保加賀守）who was the head of Sagaminokuni Odawara castle (相模国小田原城). They changed Okumiya (奥宮) to Myojin mountain top of Yamakita-machi from present Myojin mountain top. Later, shrine officials and volunteers of Yamanaka rebuilt it as Suwa Shrine Okumiya in the present site after acknowledging the truth of sanctuary.
On 1 September, Reisai (例祭）”Okumiyasai (奥宮祭）is held.

Kobunsho (Ancient writings) says “in ancient times, a shoshi (small shrine) was enshrined at the top of Myojin mountain.” This is the Okumiya (rear shrine) of Suwa shrine enshrined at current place. The 12th of Tenpo period (1841), Nagata-katsunoshin who was the head of Hirano village, Tsuru county, Kai province expanded its land for Kai province and relocated the rear shrine from the top of Myojin mountain in existing to Myojin mountain pass in Yamakita town when he was conducting land survey with Okubo-kagamori who was the owener of Odawara castle in Mobara province. Afterward, people related to the shrine and Yushi-Shogen in the mountain acknowledged the truth of enshrinement place and rebuild the rear shrine of Suwa in current place.
A reisai (regular festival), “Okumiya-sai (tear shrine festival)” is carried out at September 1.

The ancient document says that a small shrine was enshrined on the top of Myojin-san in the past, and it must be Suwa shrine-Okumiya which locates on the current Gosho. In Tenpo 12 (1841), Katsunosin Osada who was the village headman of Kai no-Kuni Tsuru-gun Hirano-mura planned the expansion of land for Kai no-Kuni and changed the location of Okumiya to Myojin-touge where is the north of the existing Myojin-san when the land survyings with Kaganokami Okubo who is the lord of Odawara-caslte in Sagamino-Kuni. After that, the relevant people of the shrine and volunteered men of the mountain accepted the story behind the story about the location and it was rebuilt on the present location as Suwa shrine-Okumiya.
An annual celebration”Okumiya-Sai” is held on September 1st every year.
