先日の面接の報告です。2社面談をうけました。医療機器ディストリビューターと医療用レーザーのメーカーです。
まず医療用ディストリビューターは二次面接後、合格しました。驚いたことに、本来計画している新営業所設立とは別に、私の住む町に私のために営業所を設立してくれるそうです。これには驚きましたが、結果的に私はお断りしました。社長も魅力的な方でしたし、待遇もかなり良かったのですが、業務内容に明るい未来を感じなかったからです。
Here is the update of my interviews the other day: I had two interviews; one with a medical device distributor and the other with a medical laser manufacturer.
I got the position after the second interview with the former. To my surprise, besides the launch of new business office which is originally planned, they will set up another business office in my town for me. It was a total surprise but I ended up rejecting the offer in the end. Although the president was a very attractive person, and my salary package was pretty well, but I did not feel a prosperous future in their business contents.
Please let me report of the interview the other day. I was interviewed by two companies. They are medical equipment distributor and the manufacturer of medical laser.
At first, I could pass the medical distributor after taking the second interview. To my surprise, apart from the establishment of a new branch which has been planned, they are willing to launch a new branch in my town for me. It really surprised me, but I refused the offer as a result. The president was an attractive person, and the compensation was pretty good, but I could not feel a bright future in my ob assignment.

First, I passed the secondary interview with the medical equipment distributor. To my surprise, it appears that they will establish the business office in the city I live instead of the place that was originally planned. This was a surprise but, concerning the result, I declined the offer.
The chief was a fascinating person and the treatment was also good but I didn't sense a bright future in the business details.
もう一社の医療用レーザーのメーカーは実は回答がまだなのです。私以外に候補者がいて、来週選考結果がでます。こちらは日本法人設立二年目の新しいメーカーなので新規開拓のできる積極的な営業力を必要としている会社で、私の希望するやりがいのある業務内容です。結果が楽しみです。
Mr.A、秘密の友人として一つ教えてください。
この先一年は日本で新たな展開を始めるのは難しい事はわかりました。
伺いたいのは、いつか始める時が来たら、私ではなく別の日本人マネージャーを改めて募集したいと考えていますか?

I understand it is difficult to start launching a new business within the next year or so in Japan.
What I would like to know is, when the right time comes to start, do you wish to hire another Japanese manager instead of me?
Can you please one thing as my secret friend, Mr. A?
I understood that it would be difficult to start a new deployment in Japan for a year ahead.
What I would like to ask is, do you have a plan to recruit another Japanese manager anew, not me. if the time to start comes someday?
もし、そのようにお考えであれば、私は現時点で御社のことは忘れて、別のStomaメーカーも応募してみようと考えています。もちろんこれまでのやり取りは秘密厳守ですが、私にとって最も残念な選択であることは間違いありません。
あなたがおっしゃる通り会社として約束はできないというのは理解していますが、せめてあなたの個人的な気持ちだけでも聞きたいです。遠慮なくはっきりと言ってくれたほうが嬉しいです。

Although I understand you cannot commit as a company as you say, but at least I would like to hear your personal thoughts if possible. I would be happier if you could tell me straight forward.
