月に刻まれている無数のクレーターを繊細に表現することがこの製品化プロジェクトのチャレンジです。ところで、月にはなぜあのような多数のクレーターが刻まれているのでしょうか。
そもそも地球に対してもたくさんの隕石が落ちてきています。地球は月よりも大きく重力も強いため、なおさらです。しかし、大気があるためそのほとんどは大気中で燃え尽きてしまうのです。
