I was lucky enough to get the wife and I to New York for our belated wedding anniversary, and it didn't disappoint. One of the highlights was eating at The Capital Grille-New York City. They gave us a great table and fully impressed us with their service. If you are looking for a fabulous meal with excellent service then look no further.
I read the comments in Tripadvisor and I can't agree more. Since my husband and I arrived to the restaurant we were greeted with a ”happy anniversary” and our table was decorated with little hearts and a handwritten card with good wishes. We were even treated to a glass of champagne. Wonderful touch. Food was good and very friendly staff. Definitely we will come back again.
This was disappointing for us as a dining experience. It definitely lives up to it's name being a WINE BAR but not so much a restaurant feel. Food was just ok, Gnocchi was very disappointing. I have definitely experienced better in Bangkok, like Grand Hyatt. Like I said, if you are up for a drink it's a nice classy venue to drink, but for a dining experience, it's lacking.
Real Italian restaurant and bar with very nice chef except on Monday who behaves like an Italian when he describes the menu. Good wine selection but remembervto make booking in advance
Fast and efficient service although we have to wait in a line to get in..the restaurant is crowded maybe they need to expand the place. Off course, the xiao long bao's are delicoius served steaming hot.
Despite an hour long of wait under the hot sun with a toddler in tow, we were truly delighted when the service was welcoming and food was served almost immediately yet piping hot and delicious. We did not feel hurried although the queue was growing outside. Xiao Long Bao is a must try! The fried rice with prawns and sze chuan sour and spicy soup was very good. Overall the experience was excellent!
...nothing less! french gastronomie in ...small size! small place but cozy, small menu but soooooo tasteful, low prices for a very well organised bistrot! just don't forget to book before you go! or he'll just say ”desole!, I have no free tables monsieur!” ...and DO try the macaron as a desert!!!!!!!!!!
Found this restaurant in Trip Advisor. All the rave reviews were well earned. The restaurant has excellent food and friendly service. At 30 Euro the price was very reasonable for the quality of the offering. L'Onglet de Veau was delicious as was the Sea Bass with Fennel. The Prawn brick appetizer was also wonderful.
"I have really wanted to try Georgian food since reading about it last year. It is a fantastic mish mash of silk road traditions, taking something from Russia, the freshness of the middle east, the spices of India and China, and morphing it all into an amazing cuisine that is a cohesive whole.
Massive food nerds stuck with ethnic food enui need to make their way to Tamada. It is a small friendly restaurant with a comfortable casual/classy vibe, that produces a range of dishes that come from the classic Geaorgian cannon. Fresh, flavoursome, interesting, I'd go back tomorrow."
We went for a Sunday lunch, and the place was empty, however the waitress said it gets crowded in the evening. The food is very unusual, as is the wine. Try khatchapury (cheesy flat bread) for starters. Borscht was too spicy, but I guess it was a Georgian version. Main courses all had unusual herbs in them, interesting taste. Georgia is famous for semi-sweet wines, but if you prefer dry, try their red Saperavi.
