"I have really wanted to try Georgian food since reading about it last year. It is a fantastic mish mash of silk road traditions, taking something from Russia, the freshness of the middle east, the spices of India and China, and morphing it all into an amazing cuisine that is a cohesive whole.

Massive food nerds stuck with ethnic food enui need to make their way to Tamada. It is a small friendly restaurant with a comfortable casual/classy vibe, that produces a range of dishes that come from the classic Geaorgian cannon. Fresh, flavoursome, interesting, I'd go back tomorrow."

去年、本で目にしてからというもの、僕は本当にグルジア料理を食べたかったんです。シルクロードの伝統をごちゃ混ぜにしたような魅惑的な料理です。ロシアから何がしかを取り入れ、中東の斬新さを取り入れ、中国とインドのスパイスを取り入れ、統一感のある、目を見張るような料理へと変身させたのです。

民族料理にはまってしまった料理おたくの僕は、Tamadaへ行くことを運命づけられていたのでした。そこは、こぢんまりとしたお店で、庶民的で感じ良くありながら、品のある雰囲気を持っていました。お店ではいろいろな種類の料理を提供していて、料理はグルジアの古い大砲の中から出てきます。新鮮で、風味豊かで、気興味が尽きない。僕は明日もう一回行きますね。
