Thanks for your email. I'm afraid that's not quite correct. Anyone who has an Amazon seller account can sell Seiwa products on Amazon.com, including us. These can be retailers, wholesalers, companies, or even private individuals anywhere in the world.
If you are the first person or company to sell a product on Amazon, you will be allowed to create the title and description of that product, even if you are not the manufacturer of the product. Amazon does this because they do not want to spend the time and money researching millions of products and writing their own titles and descriptions.

Usually, the manufacturer of a product would open an Amazon account and enter their own well-written titles and descriptions for their products, so they can make good sales on Amazon. If not, then a retailer would open their own Amazon.com account, and enter the details themselves. Amazon assumes that a reseller would enter good information so they will achieve good sales, Amazon also assumes that a manufacturer would also want to have good titles and descriptions, so they would fix any mistakes they see. Amazon believes this system is good enough, and they will not intervene to fix mistakes.
Unfortunately, these two things did not happen for Seiwa products.

Sometime in the past, someone who does not read or write English well (we do not know who) created the data for Seiwa products. Whoever they were, they were very lazy and incompetent because the entered terrible titles on Amazon, with many misspelled, non-sensical and irrelevant words. The description is also very badly written or is missing completely for most Seiwa products.
Because Seiwa has not done anything to fix this, this creates a very bad image for Seiwa, and causes Seiwa products to rank very badly on Amazon USA, far below Chinese sellers.

Clearly, no one will buy Seiwa products on Amazon with the listings you can see in the examples above.
Unfortunately, when we try to change these titles to the beautiful, and proper titles and descriptions we have created for Seiwa products, Amazon’s algorithm rejects our attempts to improve the data because Amazon's system will only accept product data given to them by:
• The first seller, who entered the data in the beginning,
• The manufacturer (The manufacturer must prove they are the manufacturer, by publishing their catalogue in English, or contacting Amazon directly),

Therefore, I would like to ask your help in fixing this problem, so Seiwa’s products can sell on Amazon.com, which is the world’s largest online marketplace. Here are some solutions I can recommend that Amazon may accept:
1. Please publish an English catalogue on your website that is available to the public on your website, containing English titles and descriptions, as well as other relevant data (weight, volume, product dimensions). Please inform Amazon of the catalogue and arrange that they change the titles and descriptions. Please note, we can help you write the titles and descriptions in English, we are willing to help you free of charge because this will also help our sales, and we already have a lot of titles and descriptions written for Seiwa products.
2. Create a brand registry account on Amazon.com (https://brandservices.amazon.com/), and contact Amazon, informing them you are the brand owner, and that you would like to update the Amazon listings with correct information, they will give you instructions on how to do this. We can write this letter for you and email it to you for you to sign. We will provide this scanned letter to Amazon, and change the titles and descriptions one by one. This is the easiest option for you (even if this is the hardest for us), however, Amazon may not accept this every time and Amazon may request more information,
Unfortunately, there is a lot of information here to deal with, so I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Please note that because Amazon is so successful, they do not feel obligated to help, or be flexible with their systems, and will expect both Seiwa and Goods Japan to do the work to sell on Amazon.
