Also, it’s probably worth pointing out that for a tech company focused on creating a new method of visual presentation, Theia’s website is pretty embarrassing. Granted, the company has a small team that’s focused on other things, but it’s genuinely the worst-looking startup website I’ve seen in quite a while. If I were a prospective Theia client, that website would make me wonder about the company’s product quality.

Still, there’s no denying that what Theia is working on is pretty cool. If the company can manage to achieve its lofty aims, then it might have a real chance at beating some of the bigger tech players into the interactive holographic ad market.

加えて特筆すべきは、ビジュアルプレゼンテーションの新手法開発に力を入れるテクノロジー企業にしては、Theiaのウェブサイトが相当にお粗末であるという点だ。同社のチームは小規模で、他にも尽力する対象があるといえば確かにそうであるが、それにしてもここしばらくの間に見た中で一番酷いスタートアップのウェブサイトであることは間違いない。もしも私がTheiaのクライアント候補であったとして、このウェブサイトを見たら同社の製品の質を疑問視してしまうだろう。

それでも、Theiaが手がけるプロジェクトは非常にクールだということは否定のしようがない。同社が掲げる高邁な目標を達成できた暁には、上を行く強豪企業を追い抜いて、インタラクティブなホログラム広告市場に参入するチャンスが切り開けるかもしれない。

It appears to have quite a bit of pitting or signs of wear or aging. i don't mind this so much, except I believe that the price doesn't properly reflect the actual value. Are you interested in selling at a discounted cost? I have been watching this for several months now, and I'm assuming you'd like to sell this piece if possible. I obviously have no idea what your cost is on this specific item, but I would consider purchasing it at a price you can make some money, and I can have a nice razor that i will put the time and effort into proper repair and enjoy for myself. Airbnb bookings reportedly expected to double to 80 million this year

Airbnb’s leaked internal performance numbers predict that it will double nightly bookings to 80 million this year, according to Reuters. The report cites a previous estimate from investment bank Piper Jaffray earlier this year that projected Airbnb’s nightly bookings would only rise to 61 million this year, up from 40 million last year. But apparently that estimate was far too conservative.

India’s largest smartphone maker, Micromax, reportedly mulling U.S. entry in 2016

Tech news out of India is coming hot and fast today — we’re now hearing that the country’s largest homegrown smartphone maker, Micromax, could be eyeing a U.S. market entry next year. Micromax overtook Samsung to become the top player in India’s mobile space sometime around January, and with India due to become the world’s second-largest smartphone market by 2017, that makes it one of the big players to watch out for globally.

I don’t expect Micromax will fare any differently, if it decides to try entering the U.S. As far as most consumers in the States are concerned, Micromax is still a foreign brand that they have never heard of. Why buy it over Samsung or Apple, even at a reduced price point?
