販売形態は様々。ネットでの販売形態は様々だ。買い取り・消化仕入れ型、テナント出店のモール型、直営EC(電子商取引)、さらにはサイトも商品も自社のネットSPAなどがある。スタイライフやマガシークなどネット専業大手は、雑誌とも連動しながら販売する形態で、商品の買い取り・消化仕入れが多い。ディベロッパーが運営する通販サイトもこのケースがある。ディベロッパーが運営するECサイトでは出店形式が多く、販売手数料を取っている。商品取扱高が370億円を超えたネットは運営するスタートトゥデイの直営店(ストア企画開発事業)が買取、消化仕入れした商品売り上げで104億円に達する。そのほかは出店するテナントの商品取扱高だ。同社は商品売り上げとテナントからの委託販売手数料を計上するハイブリッド型ともいえる。
こうしたサイトの登場で在庫をめぐる動きが活発化している。ブランドの販売計画にFSサイトを組み込み、在庫消化を促進するよう働きかけているからだ。こうした動きは既存のでレギュラー販売するECサイトの販売機会にも関係してくる。事業全体を効率化し収益をどう上げるのか。在庫の配分はここでも課題になっている。

There are so many forms of Internet-marketing. Major websites dedicated to on-line marketing, such as Stylife and magaseek, tend to sell their products in coordination with magazines, their main activities consisting of product buybacks and simultaneous sales-purchases. Such cases also applies to some online shops run by developers. Majority of e-commerce site run by developers take form of tennant shops, from which they earn commissions. The store (a store project and development business) directly managed by START TODAY that manages a website with 37 billion-yen product billing, has made 10.4 billion yen from the sales from products obtained through simultaneous sales-purchase system. Another part of profit comes from the tennant shops' products. The company can be deemed as hybrid type who gains profit from its own product sales as well as from the commissions from its tennants.
The rise of these sites has led to an active movement related to inventory, since elimination of inventory is encouraged by incorporating FS sites into the brands' sales plan. This tandency can have an effect on sales opportunities of e-commerce sites that rely on existing regular sales methods. How can we increase the overall business efficiency as well as the profit? This is also where the question of inventory distribution becomes an issue.
