I don't know why they discontinue production of popular item though.
Also, is there any announcement from the manufacturer about release of improved version?

When I asked my rep is the two colors A, and B were going to be in stock she said "those were the two colors that we started with and are looking to change it up." As of right now white and black are going to be the options. They are always updating the software but there is a watch change for at least 6 months.
