・中央に信仰の中心になる阿弥陀如来を配置し、両脇に阿弥陀如来を手助けする観世音菩薩と勢至菩薩の三体を祀った形を阿弥陀三尊といいます。
阿弥陀如来は死者を極楽浄土へと導く仏。観世音菩薩は仏様の「慈悲」表し、勢至菩薩は仏様の「知恵」を表しています。
・にいだ二組阿弥陀三尊摩崖仏
二組が並んで岩壁に彫られているのは日本では唯一であり、大変貴重な文化財である。
・石を板状に加工し、縁取りを付けた内側に阿弥陀三尊を浮き彫りに彫刻するのは、福島県の一部の地域に見られる石仏の特有です。
・Niida Nigumi Amida Sanson Magaibutsu
The two sets carved in line on a rock wall are only one in Japan and very important cultural property.
・To sculpt empossing three Amidas with bordered inward by processing the stone into a plate shape is unique to the stone Buddha found in a part of Fukushima region.
Amidanyorai leads the dead to heaven. Kanzenonbosatsu represents mercy and Seishibosatsu represents wisdom.
-Niida paired Amidasanzonmagaibutsu
Japan is the only country who has a pair carved on the rock face and it is a very valuable cultural asset.
- It is a special stone Buddha from a part of Fukushima prefecture by processing stones as a board and carving Amidasanzou inside with hemming.
Amidanyorai is the Buddha showing the way to the Buddhist paradise, Gokurakujodo to the dead. Kannonbosatsu is the symbol of the Buddha’s “benevolence” and Seishibosatsu is the symbol of the Buddha’s “wisdom”.
・Niida futakumi amidasanzon magaibutsu
This is a priceless cultural treasure because two pieces of Amidasanzon are carved on the rocky wall and you can see nothing else like these in Japan.
・The way to make stone into a shape of board and to make Amidasanzon carved in relief inside the edging are peculiar to some areas in Fukushima Prefecture.
