Thank you for your reply and understanding. Before we fulfill this order, we have had a lot of discussions here and the conclusion is that we need to re-negotiate our operating agreement. We tried our best to be accommodating and fulfill special requests, especially on pricing, and we thought we could make it work, but unfortunately we cannot operate on the previously agreed margins. We are in the process of expanding and re-organizing our business structure and we will not have as much control over the fulfillment and ordering process.
We have been shipping out of our own warehouse until now, which is why we have been able to block orders to Japan, we were able to manually screen them in the past and reject the orders from Japan. Now we are switching to a fulfillment company who has told us that they do not have the ability to reject orders from certain countries, and our website software does not offer that feature either. So I am afraid we will not be able to block orders from Japan moving forward. What we can promise is you will be the only distributor in Japan.
Of course, we will fulfill the current order at the previously agreed rates and terms, but after this order we have to make the change, and I wanted to let you know before this order is finalized so you have a chance to think about it.
What we can do in the future is 50% of retail pricing, with the shipping delivery the same as before (actual amount paid by the receiver). We won't be able to customize orders for Japan market, with the exception of XXX order.
