As can be read in the URL above, it seems that when using a customer.id it is possible to charge whenever you feel like, but I wonder how unlawful charges are prevented? If there is any system put in place to prevent unlawful charges, I would love to know about it.

As you can see in the above URL if you use a customer.id you can bill when it pleases you, however what measures are there to stop unauthorized charges? If you have preventative measure in place for unauthorized charges please let me know what they are.
