I do have a linguistic education. I am a Professional English and Japanese language translator. I've native-level fluency of Japanese and English. I have a diploma in translation and an N2 certificate (JLPT). I did an internship at the Japan Institute of Culture and Economics in Okinawa for a year in the scope of translation and translation studies. 6+ years of working as a freelance translator have given me an understanding of how to engage with clients successfully. I possess vast experience in Legal, Financial, Economics, eCommerce, Business, Movies, Games, Websites, Medical, Pharmaceutical and other spheres.

I am a native Japanese speaker, live in Japan and India go and back for my social work. So translating Japanese is something I do on a personal level everyday. However, when I translate for business I try and my best to make sure the essence of the document is accurate. There is often no direct translation for Japanese words to English and translating can be tricky, but being a native speaker allows me to read the words that are there and the words that are not there to make sure the translation I present is accurate each and every time.
