I'm from Romania but I learned english when i was a little kid from computers and games and at the age of 14 i went to Swiss for almost 2 years and I learned French very fast.

In parallel to the activity of journalism, worked many years as a translator (English and French to portuguese), translating journalistic articles (mainly for communication agencies). Nowadays I continue in the communication area and also I do several tasks related with translation, again journalistic articles but also communication consulting ( for companies to promote themselves, for example ) and even academic studies that has to be bilingual (from English to Portuguese and reverse). And I really like to do this kind of challenges. My skills in writing are for sure an asset in this kind of tasks, and always have to develop my profession not only in Portuguese but also in English. Working as a freelancer and travelling a lot... this kind of job fits perfectly in my professional activity. And of course taking some financial advantage of a long experience in writing, communications and translating. Really motivated, because I really like what I do and being my own boss. And this is one more challenge!

Em paralelo à atividade de jornalista em Portugal, trabalhei vários anos como tradutora (inglês e francês para português), traduzindo artigos jornalísticos (sobretudo para agências de comunicação mas também publicações portuguesas, entre jornais e revistas). Atualmente, continuo ligada à área da comunicação e também mantenho, embora com menos regularidade, a atividade de tradução, sobretudo na tradução de, uma vez mais, artigos jornalísticos e também na vertente de comunicação empresarial ( para empresas que pretendem promover-se, por exemplo), e até na área de estudos académicos que se exigem bilingues (de inglês para português e retroversão). Gosto bastante destes desafios profissionais. A minha capacidade em expressão escrita é com certeza uma mais-valia nestas atividades de tradução. Há que acrescentar que a minha profissão de jornalista sempre exigiu alguma desenvoltura no uso da língua inglesa, a nível oral e na escrita. A trabalhar como free-lancer na área da comunicação e a viajar quanto baste…este tipo de desafios online, que me permitem, a partir de um computador, trabalhar em qualquer lado, é o ideal para mim. Claro, também pesa a oportunidade de maior retorno financeiro enquanto free-lancer, tirando partindo de uma longa experiência na actividade da comunicação e da escrita, assim como nas traduções. Realmente motivada, pois, o meu grande objetivo, é poder trabalhar no que gosto e ser o meu próprio patrão.
