Japan Post Office informed me that the delivery agency of USA tried to deliver the package to your house but couldn't access. The information of the tracking number has not been updated since January 5, so they said they could not specify where the camera's lens are now. Would you please tell the post office of US that the item is missing from your side, if possible? If you can, I think US side will work appropriately. Once you inform to the post office of US about missing item and they contact to Japan Post Office, the procedure of compensation will go through.

Japan post contacted us and told us that the carrier in America tried to deliver it to your home address but failed. The tracking number hasn’t been updated since 5th January and they are not able to find out where the lense of the camera currently is. Could you please tell them you’re missing the item in the post office in America by yourself if possible? If you do so, they would be working on the issue. And then if they contact us Japan post back, the compensation process will begin.

Japan Post contacted me to tell that a delivery company could not reach your house although they tried. Because tracking number for the camera lens is not renewed since January 5th, currently, Japan Post has no idea where the camera lens is. If it is possible, would you mind telling the American Post that you have not received the item yet? I am sure that the American Post will do the right things. The American Post will contact the Japan Post after you talk about the lost item, so the process of compensation will begin.
