グローバルキッズに必要な能力・姿勢

英語だけが出来ても「グローバル」とは言えない。一般的なプリスクールでは英語教育(言語力)のみ。しかし、大事なのは思考力と探究心。物事に興味を持つ探究心が無ければ、思考すらしない。積極的に学び、思考をし、思考力が伴うことで、自分の意見や考えを持つことが出来る。それを最終的にアウトプットする能力が言語力である。万が一、今後英語を忘れてしまっても、幼少期に身についた思考力や探究心は、一生モノである。

Necessary skill / attitude

We cannot call "Global" even if they can just speak English.
They learn only language skill based on English education in general preschool.
However, the important thing is thinking skill and inquiring mind.
If they don't have inquiring mind which are interested in many kinds of things, they don't think at all.
Through they learn actively and think, they get thinking skill and they can have their own opinions and thinkings.
The skill which they finally output them is language skill.
Even if they forget English in the future, they can keep thinking skills and inquiring minds forever which they got in the childhood.

Ability and attitude required for the global kids

Being able to speak English doesn't qualify you being "global". Only English education (linguistically) is provided at general pre-schools. However, the important elements are the thinking ability and the spirit of inquiry. Without such spirit to have interest in things, one would not even try to think. By actively learn and think along with the thinking ability, one can have his/her own opinion. Linguistic ability is to output them ultimately. Just in case you forget how to speak English, the thinking mind and the spirit of inquiry acquired in one's youth will stay forever.

The ability and attitude for global kids

Even if they can speak English, it doesn't mean "global". Ordinary pre-schools offer only English education (language ability). However, the most important thing is the capacity to think and to become interested in certain things. If we do not become interested in certain things, we do not even think. We can have our own opinions and thoughts only when we learn passionately with thinking. The true language ability is the capacity to output those opinions and thoughts at the end. If we forget English, over the course of our lives, we can live together with the capacity to think and to become interested in certain things.

Kids whose English level is the one which they can understand others and tell what they want to without their native languages even if they only use English.
We focus more on the language ability to understand others and tell one's opinions, not the superficial language ability, such as presentation and discussion.
