また、鞣しの方法も特殊で、クロム鞣しとタンニン鞣しの良いところを合わせた脱クロム製法と呼ばれる特殊な鞣しを行っています。これは、クロム鞣しで浸透したクロムから、わざわざほとんどのクロムを抜き取ってから、タンニン鞣しを行うという手間の掛かる手法になります。
