【エクステリア】
インテーク風のバンパーやサイドのキャラクターラインなど、癖の強いデザインは好みが分かれ、最初は違和感がありましたが、そこまで気にならなくなりました。フロントデザインは癖がありますが、リアデザインは格好良い方かと思います。ただ色によってはキッチュに見えるかもしれません・・・シルバー系か黒が割とエクステリアデザインに合っています。一部でボンネット裏や給油口付近の塗装が省略されていることを非難する声がありますが、個人的にはあまり気になりませんでした。
A bumper with air intake design and the character line of the side and so on, which are so strong design as making me feel uncomfortable first now I got familiar with them. The front design is still too strong for me but the rear design seems nice. It might seem “kitsch” depending on the colors ; silver and black suit well with the exterior design. As I saw a criticism on the omission of painting on the back of hood and fuel filter opening around, I personally did
not care about it.
At first I felt uncomfortable with strong quirky designs such as an intakish bumper and character lines on sides, but now I am used to them. I think the front design has a quirk, but the rear design is kind of cool. However, it may look kitsch, depending on colors... Silver type or black would comparatively suit the exterior designs. Some criticize the omission of painting on the back of a hood or near an oil filler port, however I personally did not care much about those.
室内空間を重視すると多くの軽自動車やミニバンのように箱型の単調なデザインになりがちですが、室内空間を広く取りながらも空力にも配慮し、単調に見せないデザインは流石です。すごく格好いいわけではありませんが、実用性の高さも考えるとそれなりに評価できるのではないでしょうか。ワンモーションデザインでノーズが短いため運転席からは見えませんが、先端はこすりづらいです。
It is not extremely excellent, but I believe it is worth while highly evaluated because it has practical usability.
As it has short nose brought by one motion design, the driver can not see the nose from driver's seat. But the edge rarely likely to hit against the wall.
欠点を言うならばウェッジシェイプでAピラーが寝ているので、見切りはそれほど良くないという点ですが、許されないほど悪いわけではなく車両感覚は十分掴みやすい方だと思います。
【インテリア】
これまたやや派手目のデザインなので評価が分かれそうですが、コンパクトカーにしては質感が高いほうだと思います。ピアノブラックやシルバーの差し色や黒の質感が良く、十分合格点でしょう。シフトレバーはHV専用のものとなっています。
[Interior]
The impression may vary depending on individuals, I myself feels it is high-class one among compact cars. The piano black and silvery accent works well, and the texture is so good, satisfying enough. Shift lever is designed exclusively for HV model.
オートエアコンはタッチパネル式でスタイリッシュですが、年配の方や指が乾燥している方には操作しづらいかもしれません。カーナビはもう少し高い位置にして欲しかったです。後部座席は定評通り足元が広々としており、ヘッドクリアランスも十分です。ラゲッジも十分で、後部座席をフルフラットに倒せるので、大型の荷物も楽に入ります。
【走行性能】
とても滑らかに加速し、高速域でも走りに余裕があります。初期モデルではDCTにギクシャク感があったそうですが、解消されています。

The acceleration is very smooth. Even in high speed range, the driving is still luxury. I heard DCT of the initial model was not smooth.

It accelerates very smoothly and it has enough power left even at high speed. I heard that the first model had a jerky movement with DCT, however the problem has been solved.
遮音性も高く、とても静かです。
【乗り心地】
路盤の良い道路では問題ありませんが、路盤の凹凸は割とダイレクトに拾います。燃費重視のコンパクトカーなので仕方ないかもしれませんが・・・
【燃費】
以前はトヨタのHVに完敗だったのですが、新型ではHVシステムを大幅に刷新し、大して差がないレベルまで追いつきました。少なくとも燃費で敬遠されることは無くなったかと思います。
【価格】
[Ride Quality]
On smooth pavement, three is no issue. But the car is relatively sensitive to road undulation. It might be inevitable trade off as the car is designed to achieve high fuel efficiency.
[Fuel Efficiency]
In the past, it is completely lost against TOYOTA's HV, but the newly updated HV system has rapidly caught up with almost same level. At least the fuel efficiency is not the key differentiation any more.
[Price]
[Ride Quality]
There is no problem on a good roadbed but it directly picks up roughness of the roadbed. There may be no way since this one is a compact car which puts much weight in fuel efficiency.....
[Fuel Efficiency]
Previously this one was beaten by Toyota's HV cars, however the HV system of the new model has been improved drastically and it has caught up on to the level of making a little difference. At least I think it has become no case to be kept a distance from fuel efficiency.
[Price]
一見してライバル車とあまり変わらないように見えますが、装備の差を考えると割安です。Lパッケージには自動ブレーキ（赤外線式ですが・・・）やLEDヘッドライト（ロービームのみ）も付いています。HVのみLパッケージは座席が変わるようです。
【総評】
リコールを多発しすぎて評判を落としてしまいましたが、今はようやく不具合が出きった感があります。
[General Comments]
Its reputation used to be bad due to too many recalls, but currently it seems stable after all bugs are reported and fixed.
販売を遅らせてでも品質を確保して欲しかったのですが・・・出来れば不具合を解消したマイナーチェンジ後を買ったほうがおすすめです。よく同じコンパクトHVのアクアと比較されますが、現時点では走りや快適性、内装の質感など、ほぼすべての面でアクアを上回っていると言って良いかと思います。エクステリアデザインこそやや癖がありますが、トータルバランスに優れ、基本的に多くの方におすすめできると言ってよいでしょう。
I would recommend the model after minor model change if possible because defects are fixed in the model after the minor model change. It is often compared with the same HV, Aqua, but currently I believe that Fit is superior to Aqua in almost all aspects. Its exterior design may be slightly weird, but it has established overall balance, so that it is basically best buy to many people.
