I was thinking about showing the acual damaged item to make the damage reporting go smoothly, but we might as well notify the post office there is no need to return the item.

Does "bill" mean an invoice? Regardless, I understand that it won't be included in the package.

I thought that filling a damage report runs smoothly if you would show the damaged staff, but it would be better to let post office know that there is no necessary to send it back.
