"Tsuritama" is a rare masterpiece mix of anime about fishing and bromance anime in Japan.

"Tsuritama" is an epic anime about fishing with romance, which is not common in Japan.
I never expected to come across such an anime in Japan!
But it is also true that not many people I know are watching this great show.
In reality I presume it is treated more like a hidden masterpiece.
So i would like to present to everyone the greatness of "Tsuritama".

まあ、これも、
傑作というのは一面的ではなく、
多面的なものから成り立っているという証拠ですよね(^^)
気になる物語のあらすじですが、かなり明快です。
ただし、こちらに関してはストーリーのネタばれをしてしまうことになりますので、
一人ぼっちの少年が、自称宇宙人と釣り王子、それに変な転校生（25歳）という三人の友だちをつくり、四人で釣りをする話、
という説明までに留めておきましょうか♪
それだけでも、
青春ものとして、楽しく切ない要素は十分なのです。
感動で、胸を震わせるには十分なのです。

Well this only shows that a masterpiece is made up of various elements rather than one, right?(^^)
The story is pretty straight forward.
But to prevent spoilers, let's just say that it is a story about "A lonely boy who becomes friends with an alien, a fishing prince, and a strange new classmate, and starts fishing together."
That itself is sufficient as a fun and wistful story of adolescence.

BLの要素はないけれど、
男同士の親密な友情を描いているもの。
そういう意味で、
「つり球」は、仲の良い男友だちと一緒に見ても楽しめるアニメです。

「つり球」は、ずっと涙腺がじんわりとしたまま、という
感動の持続のさせ方が、とても上手いアニメなのです。
ぜひ騙されたと思って、見てほしいアニメです！！

OPの「徒然モノクローム」も、最強の名曲だと思います。
やっぱり、
いいアニメには、いいOP、いい曲が必ずついているものです。
「徒然モノクローム」をつくったフジファブリックは、

Even if you aren't someone that cries easily, I think "Tsuritama" will move your heart to the point of tears, it is such a good anime.
What I means is, it is an anime one wants to see!!
This might be just an extra point, but I believe the opening, "Monochrome tedium", is also a strong, famous song.
After all, a good anime always has a good opening and a good music.
"Fuji Fabric", who created "Monochrome Tedium", exactly 2 years after the passing away of their main vocal artist,
What I means is, it is an anime one wants to see!!

When you read "Tsuritama", you keep moved to tears, which doesn't mean crying bitterly.
This anime keeps you moved really ingenmiously.
I want you to see it, just for the heck of it!!

I think its OP, "Tsurezure monochrome" is a great music.
It is true that good anime has a good OP and good piece of music.
Fuji Fabric created "Tsurezure monochrome".
They were making this music two years after the main vocalist died.
This anime keeps you moved really ingenmiously.

Having gone through that crisis,
I was able to make this bright, positive tune.
The band's effort and the will to go forward made me want to cry.
It's a song that I keep in my mp3 player, even now.
It really is in heavy rotation.
