When I first came to Japan, I was driving and looking for a place to park so I drove into a small parking area. However I could not read the signs because they were only posted in Japanese. I was not allowed to enter that area.
never have furigana on kanji,, kanji is very hard to read..

私が初めて日本を訪ねた際、運転しながら駐車できるところを探していた。駐車ができそうな小さな駐車スペースへと車を進めた。しかし日本語でしか表記されていなかったため標識が読めなかった。そこは駐車してはいけない場所だった。
漢字にはふりがながふられていることはない...漢字は読むのがとても難しい。

I went to hot spring. It was all written in Japanese. so i didn't know i should take a shower before entering it. So, some of the old ladies were angry at me. I was so sorry and felt awful.

The Japan gov. website for the weather is an example. There are no warning as to the condition or gravity of the typhoon and it's effect on Tokyo. Official warning signals should be implemented, so that the public is aware of the situation.

納税申告をした際も英語で充分なやアドバイスや助言が受けられませんでした。まだ自分の市民税が高すぎると思っています。
税金やビザに関連する移住についての質問などの問題を処理しようと思っても、通常英語でのガイドはあまりありません。
I can read/speak Japanese, so I don't have problems like these, but one time I was asked if I wanted my items in separate bags at the grocery store. When I said "That's ok" (ii desu) they took it as a "please separate them" kind of response when I really didn't need an extra bag at all. This mistake happens a lot in conversation too.

I went to the doctor 2 times but wasnt getting better, on the third time i went with my wife and she translated that I needed to try a different type of doctor.

At the supermarket I wanted to buy eggs but I accidentally bought 'onsen eggs' It was very hard to do my taxes at the big building in Shibuya because there was no multilingual information.
