I think that the best way to deal with this situation is to do as follows:
Fukuda san will ship the bag to Italy (at the client’s expense)
We repair it and restore the leather with some special grease, normally this service cost around 50 euro, but in this special case I have agreed with the factory to make it free of charge.
We send it back (at the client’s expense)
Shipping department told me that in order to ship the parcel from Italy to Japan it will cost around 100 euro (the precise calculation can only be done later when the parcel is made). Of course at that point we will ask for a payment via money transfer through our bank before shipping the item back.
