You may think China’s classified websites are similar to Craigslist. Well, in some way it is, but the revenue model is quite different. An analyst claims that China’s classified websites make big money with ad sales, paid placement (if you want your post to appear at the top of the page, you need to pay) and franchise fee (allow franchisees to operate in different cities). Actually, Ganji is expected to hit US$ 100 million revenue in 2012.

Ganji spent rmb 400 millions on its TV ads this year, and 58.com CEO Jingbo Yao once said “we have never been short of money.”

Chinese Man Goes to Work in Ironman Suit, Videos go Viral

A Chinese man has become a viral hit on the internet after showing up at his office wearing an Ironman suit that he created at home. 25-year-old Wang Xiaokang created the costume mostly out of foam (it would be pretty heavy otherwise!) after being ispired by the Robert Downey Junior Ironman movie.

When Wang decided to take his act to work, the security guards initially didn’t let him enter. But after showing his credentials (notice in the picture below that he’s wearing his badge around his neck) he was allowed to enter the building.

Email seems like a worthy destination for a video clip.
There is one important caveat—the kind of email program you’re using. Email programs that use HTML formats such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird will allow you to embed a video clip but other web-based programs like Gmail or Yahoo won’t let you. Here’s a workaround worth trying.

You have not done anything wrong. Keep in mind that your password is case sensitive. Make sure CAPSLOCK on your computer is off (or on, depending on whether CAPSLOCK was on or off when you registered with EcoCard). In order to log into your EcoCard you should type in your username and your password.
I have a problem logging into my account with one of your merchants. What should I do?

From the ‘Manage your card’ page, click the link that reads ‘Cancel your EcoCard Prepaid Debit MasterCard’. A prompt will appear asking you to confirm the cancellation. Click ‘Continue’. You will be charged a 20p fee for card cancellation.
Once your card has been successfully cancelled you will no longer be able to use it You should properly dispose of the card by cutting it in two, ensuring you have cut through the chip in addition to the signature strip.

Why was my payment/withdrawal rejected?
There are a number of reasons why a transaction might be rejected:
