It is said to have unstable quality with low vanillin content, fermentation and moulds...containers are apparently sent back to Madagascar every month from overseas. From our understanding the vanilla beans were rejected by the buyers for the facts listed above.

Therefore we strongly recommend that you will be prepared for possible problems if you bought vanilla from this crop. We suggest that you have the lots tested several times for vanillin content.
