I still remembered reading articles recalling Chinese people all wearing the same clothes back in the 1940s and 1950s before the reform and opening up. Well, that’s not the case anymore since a long time ago as China gradually turned itself into the world factory.

And then with the staggering economy development Chinese people could hands-down have access to numerous choices of clothes, accessaries among other stuff, well, mostly mass-produced. Now they’re not content with mass production anymore with their eyes more attracted to handmade stuff carefully crafted for a small group of people by indie designers.

This is a vintage veery rare gun metal and 14k gold 5500C Deluxe fishing reel in mint condition. The majority of the teams observed how the people in the marriage market interacted with one another.
One group worked on expediting the hospital visit and one group tackled Tian Zi Fang to smoothen overall shopping experience.
Teams focused on delivering key observations on how to improve the experiences and while the methods and framework were the same, each team offered massively entertaining ways to deliver their messages.

The Mw = 7.8 November 2007 Tocopilla earthquake ruptured a subduction interface between the cities of Tocopilla and Antofagasta in North Chile. So far, 445 aftershocks have been relocated by a local seismic network. The aftershock zone depicts the plate interface dipping 20° east, with a width of about 40 km wide and broadening towards the south. Some shallow events located offshore of the Mejillones peninsula appear to have occurred above the slab interface, possibly suggestive of shallow crustal faulting.
The coseismic deformation field observed by satellite interferometry data is used to constrain the distribution of slip associated with the earthquake.

We construct two hypothetical models: the first one considers a single thrust fault, and the second one considers the interaction of a thrust and a shallow crustal fault offshore of the Mejillones peninsula. Both inversion models are based on the aftershock distribution, and suggest that an area of ∼ 160 km by 50 km along the Nazca–South America convergent margin, between latitudes 22°S and 23.5°S, ruptured during the mainshock.

Towards the south, the region of slip broadens, and reaches a peak slip of 2.5 m to the northeast of the Mejillones peninsula. The depth of faulting is estimated to be between 30 and 50 km. While the first model assigns the whole seismic energy release to the slip on the main subduction interface, the second model assumes that parts of this energy were released by the reactivation of a shallow crustal fault offshore of the Mejillones peninsula, as suggested by aftershock data. We have shown that the latter model is supported by Coulomb stress transfer model simulations, but its kinematics cannot be constrained well with the InSAR data alone.

AbstractOn 14 November 2007, a subduction thrust earthquake, magnitude Mw = 7.8, occurred in the coastal region of northern Chile, causing substantial damage to the city of Tocopilla. We investigate the source fault of the earthquake, slip distribution and fault interaction by integrating aftershock locations, satellite interferometry data and stress model simulations. Aftershock measurements allow us to locate the area and geometry of the rupture plane in the coastal region between the cities of Tocopilla and Antofagasta.

Combining two satellite viewing geometries, acquired in Envisat's Wide Swath and Image modes, we observe decimetre-scale coseismic deformation. The maximum line-of-sight displacement is found to be about 40 cm, located at the Mejillones Peninsula. Slip inversions using elastic half-space models with geometry constrained by aftershocks suggest rupturing of an area of ∼ 160 km by ∼50 km along the Nazca–South America convergent margin between latitudes 22°S and 23.5°S. The main slip is concentrated on two asperities, the largest being located in the southern part of the rupture area at a depth of approximately 30–50 km with a magnitude of about 2.5 m.

Because aftershock distribution may also suggest a region of shallow crustal deformation activity located offshore, we investigate whether the 2007 Tocopilla earthquake also involved shallow crustal fault slip offshore. Although we find that the latter assumption is supported by Coulomb stress modelling and geologic inferences, our geodetic and seismic data provide insufficient constraints to resolve the exact geometry and kinematics of dislocation on this structure.
