日本は実は選挙期間中にソーシャルメディアで候補者を応援することが禁止されていたり、大企業の多くでソーシャルメディアへのアクセスが禁止されていたりという、ソーシャルメディア後進国
ネットに対して恐怖心を抱いていたりソーシャルメディアを食わず嫌いな方も多いのが実情です
ただ、一方でソーシャルメディアでつながったユーザーによって、変化が引き起こされるケースが増えています
In fact, in Japan we were prohibited to openly support a certain candidate online during the election campaigns were going on or the employees in many industries were not allowed to access to the social media. We used to be that behind in terms of idea about social media.
It is still a reality that some are still dubious about the Internet in fear and others have just a prejudice against the Internet without acutally knowing what it is.
On the other hand, the number of the cases in which the users connected by the social media are initiating changes in the world is growing.
Many large companies prohibit employees to access social media because of fear against the Internet.
Japan is much behind the world when it comes to social media. They just don’t like it.
However there are happening some changes by the people connected via Social media.

I also work as a government publicity advisor for the government media room(内閣官房広報室がわかりません。) and the chairman of Information Sharing Committee of The Word of Mouth Japan Marketing

I am adviser of the publicity office for the cabinet secretary and also chairperson for the sharing-information committee for WOM marketing chamber.
Besides I have been in charge of the educational activities about the possibilities of the correct corporate use of social media along with the multiple writing activities.
I have been ranked in the top fifth in the survey of want-to-hear-most presentations in the advertising and It industries, and I have been exposed on stage for more than hundred times in 2011. I also have served as the government relations advisor for the government public relations office in the Cabinet Secretariat, and the chairman of the case-share committee in the WOM marketing council.
