Would it be possible for ebay to cancel the transaction?

The item has been delivered, but it is not put in the original outer box.
However, there is a description, "original packaging" in "Condition" column.

I have made a successful bid by mistake.
I asked the seller to cancel the transaction right after the successful bid, but I have not heard anything back from the seller.
Would it be possible for eBay to cancel it on behalf of the seller?
