教科書の件を本人に確認し、◯は学校に必ず置いていたと言っています。また◯は、先生には皆に迷惑かけると思い言えなかったようです。家で無くした様子はありません。しかし、もう1ヶ月も過ぎ今回は購入しますが学校の中で無くなった可能性も否定できません。

I confirmed the matter of the textbook with◯, and ◯ said that he always placed the textbook at the school. Also it seems that ◯ has not been able to tell the teacher about that because it would cause trouble for everyone. There is no possibility he lost it at home. However, it is already one month since he lost it, so I will purchase it again this time. But still I cannot deny the possibility that he might have lost it in school.

I asked him the thing about the textbook and he says he obviously left it at the school. Besides he seems not to have told you because it bothers his classmates. He seems not to have lost it at home.
