朝から子供が高熱を出しておりましたので念のため、小児科に連れてきております。
診察が直ぐに終わると思いきや、検査にもう少し時間がかかりそうです。
本日は子供の病院が終わり次第の出社になりますことお許しください。

My child had a fever since this morning, so I took him to see a pediatrician for safety sake.
I thought the examination will finish soon, however, it might cost some more time than I have expected.
