We are very sorry to hear that you was charged for a high amount as duties.
Regarding to duties, it is determined by the French customs and we can not do anything in that matter.
It seems that some times, even for the same product, duties are charged or not.
In Europe, as besides the custom duties, VAT is also charged, making it complex and expensive.
For this time, we will pay for the 50 pounds of duties.

It seems the tariffs for the same goods are applied randomly.
In case of Europe, especially, VAT is applied over the normal tariff which causes a lot complication and high expense for importing.
